MaroonBlog: Your Source for Late-Breaking Lacadaemonian News
Success! MaroonBlog is now currently on the first page when someone googles on the up-to-the-minute, late-breaking, cutting-edge topic of.....the 2500 year old Spartan Mirage.
At least now I can call the site academic.
UPDATE: I just couldn't leave this alone without plugging the academic topic of Ancient Sparta; if you ever get a chance to study history, study Sparta. The body of evidence is so limited that one can easily read it all (Herodotus [who rocks everyone's world], Thucydides, Plutarch, there aren't many more); the historiography is also great, because people try to do so much with so little (which is what leads Finley to write his articles on the "Use and Abuse of History" linked above).
