Hmm, kurds making gains. Worrisome that the US backed Allawi has slipped behind another ticket, but the Kurds should be pretty pro-US at any rate. This brings another counter to the "its time to leave Iraq." crowd, however. We need to hang around long enough to ensure that the Kurdish backlash against the Sunnis isn't that bad.
