Sistani was right
At least in advocating for earlier, broad-based elections than what the US originally envisioned. The Sunnis are realizing that they need to get on board the political boat to have any say. That, my friends, is the road to stability and democracy--a realization that the peaceful political process and not violence is the road to influence and power in the new government.
