High on the Hog
I think I'm going to go to the local farm (there's a great one a few miles from here) and buy some lard. And maybe some fresh pork. I've been having a hankering for some real BBQ for a while (you know, the smoked, slow cooked kind).

I just got back from Texas (there will be a post this afternoon, when I get off work, complete with pictures), and they can sure barbeque down there. We should have a maroonblog barbeque when we get back to school... bring the ladies, throw back some brews... I can bring the "Don't Mess With Texas!" T-Shirt...
