Russert plays Kennedy like a cheap violin
My faith in mainstream reporters is increased by this interview, summarized by David Adesnik; the end of the post, where it is pointed out that Democrats were speaking about Saddam's weapons in 2002 just like the White House was, is great to see. If the media reports just even a little more on this, the meme the Democrats have been pushing that the White House lied to everyone and pushed the war themselves will be exposed for the lie that it is.
And then what will they be left with, the Democrats? Not much; fighitng Alito is a losing battle. Maybe they'll finally start taking a hard look at what they stand for and start restructuring the party to be less farcicle and more competitive in the future.
