France and the US
We superficially bicker because we, as two nations, are very similar. I'll buy into that.
Comments:
I have to be fair to the French. Until getting their asses kicked by the Wermacht in WWII, they really were one of, if not the finest land military in the world. Certainly in the middle ages they were near the top, and Napoleon conquered all of Europe for God's sake.
So, don't hate on the french military too much. It's good for a laugh, but it's really not a fair laugh.
